Senior Post Production Producer

As a Senior Post Production Producer within Sky Post Production's Planning team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering some of the UK's leading non-scripted entertainment and factual programming. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Planning, you'll lead the planning and delivery of complex post production projects, working closely with production teams, operational departments, and creative stakeholders to ensure outstanding client service and successful programme delivery.

This is a senior role that combines operational excellence with exceptional people management. You'll foster a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe environment, ensuring every individual working on your productions is supported to perform at their best. You'll balance the needs of productions with those of the wider business, making ethical, considered decisions that prioritise wellbeing, development, and sustainable ways of working alongside exceptional delivery.

What you'll do

  • Lead the planning and delivery of multiple non-scripted post production projects, from initial brief through to final delivery, ensuring productions are delivered on time, on budget, and to Sky's quality standards.
  • Build trusted relationships with Production Managers, commissioners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, acting as a senior point of contact and proactively managing expectations throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with Planning, Resource Management, and operational teams to optimise schedules, balance competing priorities, and make informed decisions that support both production requirements and the wider Post Production business.
  • Lead with integrity by creating an inclusive, respectful, and supportive working environment, carefully considering team wellbeing, individual development, workload, behaviours, and psychological safety when allocating and managing resources.
  • Mentor and support Post Producers and Coordinators, championing best practice, encouraging continuous learning, and helping develop future talent across the department.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, services, and ways of working, supporting innovation across Sky Post Production.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
