Senior (Post-Production) Producer

Content With Purpose is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior (Post-Production) Producer to join our dynamic, purpose-driven and fully remote team.

In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality, consistency and efficiency of our post-production workflow, helping ensure our films are delivered to the highest editorial standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling but equally motivated by developing people, improving workflows and helping creative teams produce their very best work. You'll play a key role in strengthening our editorial capability, protecting quality across our campaigns and enabling the wider team to deliver exceptional content more consistently.

More about the Role

As CWP continues to grow, we're expanding our post-production function to ensure our editorial quality remains exceptional while creating a more scalable, resilient and efficient production workflow.

The Senior (Post Production) Producer will own the day-to-day post-production workflow across multiple concurrent campaigns, ensuring projects move smoothly from first cut through to final delivery while maintaining the storytelling standards that define CWP.

You'll become the central point of contact for editorial delivery, reviewing edits, coaching producers and editors, removing production bottlenecks and helping shape the systems and processes that support our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial Leadership

  • Own the editorial delivery of projects throughout post-production, ensuring every film meets CWP's storytelling standards.
  • Review Offline and Online edits across Short Form Documentaries, Thought Leadership Interviews, launch films, social media content and campaign deliverables.
  • Provide clear, constructive and practical editorial feedback that strengthens story structure, pacing, messaging and emotional impact.
  • Make confident editorial decisions, determining when edits are ready to progress through each review stage.
  • Maintain consistency of storytelling and editorial quality across multiple editors, producers and campaigns.
  • Escalate significant creative or strategic decisions to the Head of Content & Storytelling where appropriate.

Post-Production Delivery

  • Own the day-to-day post-production workflow across multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Work closely with CWP’s Project Manager to proactively schedule editorial reviews and maintain visibility of project priorities.
  • Identify delivery risks and editorial bottlenecks early, resolving issues before they impact production.
  • Ensure feedback remains proportionate to project scope, helping teams deliver efficiently without unnecessary refinement.

Story Development & Quality

  • Champion compelling, audience-focused documentary storytelling across every project.
  • Review narrative structure, contributor selection, messaging, pacing and overall creative impact.
  • Support producers in refining stories before and throughout the edit process.
  • Ensure graphics, captions, subtitles and final deliverables consistently meet CWP's quality standards.
  • Promote consistency while recognising the unique objectives of every campaign.

Coaching & Team Development

  • Coach producers to strengthen story development, outlines, radio edits and offline edits.
  • Build editorial confidence across the wider production team through practical coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Share editorial best practice, workflows and storytelling techniques across campaigns.
  • Support the onboarding and development of new producers and editors.

Workflow & Continuous Improvement

  • Continually improve post-production workflows, editorial processes and quality assurance standards.
  • Champion the effective use of AI-powered production tools, including transcription, research, subtitling and workflow automation, identifying opportunities to improve both quality and efficiency.
  • Review project feedback, delivery performance and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
  • Help build a scalable post-production function capable of supporting CWP's continued growth.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Head of Content & Storytelling to uphold CWP's creative vision and editorial standards.
  • Partner with the Head of Operations and Project Managers to resolve editorial challenges before they impact delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with producers, editors, freelancers, clients and content partners.

Experience

We're looking for someone with significant experience within documentary, factual television, branded content or production company environments. Ideally, you'll have:

  • At least five years' experience in post-production, edit producing, documentary production or a similar senior editorial role.
  • Strong offline editing experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, with the confidence to step into an assembly edit, first cut or offline edit where required.
  • Experience overseeing multiple concurrent productions from first cut through to delivery.
  • Experience leading editorial reviews and providing clear, actionable feedback.
  • Strong understanding of documentary storytelling, narrative structure and editorial decision-making.
  • Experience coaching producers, editors or creative teams.
  • Experience improving production workflows and editorial processes.
  • Experience working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
