Location: London (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week onsite) Salary: Up to £68,000 + Excellent Benefits Job Type: Permanent
Nigel Frank are proud to be working with a well-established public sector organisation in London, which is heavily investing in its digital transformation programme. As part of this initiative, they are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to drive the design, development and advancement of enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions that deliver tangible business value.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative technology team where you will have the chance to influence architecture, mentor fellow developers, and shape the organisation’s adoption of Microsoft’s low-code technologies.
The Role
As a Senior Power Platform Developer, you’ll lead the creation of innovative solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric applications.
You’ll provide technical leadership throughout the full software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions adhere to best practices in governance, security, and maintainability, while fostering the adoption of modern Microsoft technologies across the organisation.
This role combines hands-on development, solution design, mentoring, and technical leadership for a dynamic and fulfilling experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Build Model-Driven Apps, Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power Pages solutions.
- Develop and customise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE) solutions.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services, SharePoint, and broader enterprise applications.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold development standards and best practices.
- Mentor and support junior developers within the team.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive automation and process improvements across the organisation.
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance existing Power Platform applications.
- Ensure solutions comply with governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging Microsoft technologies and identify opportunities for improvement.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong experience developing Enterprise Power Platform solutions.
- Proficiency with:
- Power Apps (Model-Driven Apps)
- Power Automate
- Power Pages
- Microsoft Dataverse
- Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
- Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Webhooks).
- Ability to develop custom plugins using C#.
- Strong JavaScript development skills.
- Experience with SharePoint integrations.
- Solid understanding of Power Platform governance, security, and best practices.
- Experience working in Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and application support expertise.
- Proven ability to mentor or lead other developers.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience within Agile delivery methodologies.
