Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Operations Lead to take ownership of the support, administration, and continuous improvement of our Microsoft Power Platform environment. This role will play a key part in maximising the value of Power Platform, leveraging Microsoft Copilot and generative AI capabilities to deliver intelligent, automated solutions that enhance business processes and user experiences.
Reporting to the Solutions Architect and Power Platform Developer within the IT Business Solutions team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing first-line support to Power Platform users
- Managing Dataverse environments
- Overseeing deployment pipelines and solution releases
- Administering security groups and user access
- Ensuring the platform operates securely and efficiently
You will act as a subject matter expert, promoting best practices across the organisation, supporting integrations with external systems, and contributing to the delivery of secure, high-quality IT services. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will help drive platform adoption, governance, and operational excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Power Platform professional who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for innovation, service delivery, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Criteria for this role:
- Strong experience administering Power Platform environments, applying governance, and security best practices
- Strong customer-centric mindset and proactive problem-solver dedicated to supporting business users, and resolving technical issues with minimum disruption to operations
- Experience administering Azure EntraID, authentication models, managed identities, app registrations
- A resilient "can-do" attitude with a passion for finding creative solutions to complex technical challenges
- Working knowledge of PL-400 and AI-103 exam objectives

Directorate/Department Overview
Nest Corporation’s Information Technology function plays a central role in supporting one of the UK’s largest pension providers. IT delivers secure, reliable, and innovative technology services across the organisation, ensuring systems and platforms enable both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals.
The department operates as a business partner and delivery function, working closely with teams across Finance, HR, and operational areas to ensure technology is fit for purpose, well-governed, and aligned to business needs.
Across Nest, IT is responsible for delivering and managing core technology services including infrastructure, networks, hosting, and end-user computing environments. The function supports and enhances a wide range of business applications and platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and financial systems. It also designs and builds custom solutions, automates business processes, and continuously improves existing systems.
IT provides day-to-day operational support and system administration, resolving incidents and service requests across the organisation. Alongside this, it plays a key role in ensuring strong governance and security, maintaining compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
These services are delivered through a combination of internal teams and strategic service partners, enabling Nest to scale effectively while maintaining strong oversight and control.
IT at Nest works as a bridge between technology and the business, turning requirements into practical solutions and supporting both business-as-usual activity and organisational change. The team provides advice and challenge to ensure solutions are sustainable, secure, and aligned with good practice.
Nest operates a modern, cloud-first technology environment, centred on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure services, and a range of SaaS applications. This enables flexible working and allows colleagues to collaborate and access systems securely from any location.
