✈️ Senior Powerplant Consultant | South Wales, UK

We're working with a well-established organisation in the aviation asset management sector to recruit an experienced Senior Powerplant Consultant. If you have a strong technical background in commercial aircraft engines and enjoy managing complex engine programmes, this could be an excellent opportunity.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as the technical lead for airline engine management programmes.
  • Managing engine shop visits from planning through to completion.
  • Forecasting maintenance costs and developing fleet strategies.
  • Monitoring engine health and performance.
  • Negotiating with OEMs, MROs and other suppliers.
  • Supporting engine lease, sale and purchase transactions from a technical perspective.
  • Leading engine transitions, inspections and technical audits.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and consultants.
  • Working directly with airline customers and supporting new business opportunities.
  • International travel to customer sites, OEMs and industry events.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience in a powerplant-focused aviation role.
  • Strong commercial airline or engine management experience.
  • Technical expertise across products from CFM, Pratt & Whitney, GE, IAE and Rolls-Royce.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and project management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK.
