The Role
This is a full-time, on-site Senior PPF Installer position based in Southend-On-Sea.
The Senior PPF Installer will be responsible for:
- Preparing vehicles through washing, decontaminating, and inspecting surfaces before film application.
- Measuring, cutting, and installing paint protection film on various vehicle panels with precise alignment, minimal seams, and high-quality finishes.
- Identifying and correcting installation defects.
- Training or mentoring junior team members.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and ensuring equipment is well-kept.
- Interacting with customers to explain services, manage expectations, and uphold a positive client experience.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in paint protection film installation, including hand-cut and plotter-cut techniques across different vehicle types.
- Strong background in car detailing, surface preparation, and paint correction to ensure optimal adhesion and finish.
- Exceptional manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work precisely with tools and delicate materials.
- Capacity to read and follow templates, installation guides, and job sheets accurately and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex curves, edges, and challenging installations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for teamwork and professional customer interactions.
- Proven ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and complete jobs to a high standard within deadlines.
- Previous experience as a senior or lead PPF installer or similar advanced detailing role is highly preferred.

Technical & Practical Requirements
- Comfortable working in a workshop environment, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Valid driver’s license, capable of safely handling, moving, and parking a variety of vehicles.
Salary Guide
£45,000 – £60,000 per year
