Senior PR & Travel Trade Consultant β UK
π Remote (UK) | π Full-Time | π English required. Additional languages are a plus.
Are you passionate about travel, luxury lifestyle, destination marketing and strategic communications? We're looking for an experienced Senior PR & Travel Trade Consultant to join our international team, supporting strategic campaigns for leading destinations, tourism boards, hospitality brands and luxury travel clients across the UK and European markets.
This is a remote-first, full-time position, with a preference for candidates based in or around London due to client meetings, networking events and industry trade shows.

Job Summary
As a Senior PR & Travel Trade Consultant, you will lead integrated PR, communications and travel trade initiatives for international tourism clients, helping strengthen their visibility, reputation and commercial performance within the UK market.
You'll develop and execute strategic campaigns, build strong relationships across the travel industry and media landscape, advise clients on market positioning, and contribute to business growth opportunities. You'll work with destinations, tourism boards, airlines, hotel groups, luxury travel brands and tourism stakeholders across multiple international markets.
Key Responsibilities
PR & Communications
- Develop and deliver strategic PR and communications plans that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Execute integrated campaigns across earned media, digital channels, social media and events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with UK media, travel journalists, influencers, tourism stakeholders and industry partners.
- Create compelling press materials, media pitches, executive profiling and thought leadership content.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging communication opportunities.
- Represent clients and KLEBER GROUP at industry events, conferences and networking functions.

Trade Marketing & Industry Relations
- Advise international tourism clients on entering and growing within the UK travel trade market.
- Build relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, OTAs, airlines, hotel groups, DMCs and key travel partners.
- Develop and implement trade marketing initiatives including:
- Webinars
- Online training programmes
- Travel agent events
- FAM trips
- Roadshows
- Trade exhibitions
- Sales missions
- Support destination marketing activities across the UK travel trade.
- Provide market intelligence and strategic insights into tourism, aviation, hospitality and luxury travel trends.
- Monitor campaign performance and produce ROI-focused reporting.
Digital & Content Strategy
- Lead content strategy across PR, digital and trade campaigns.
- Ensure messaging is aligned across media relations, social media and travel trade communications.
- Use analytics and reporting tools to optimise campaign performance.
- Adapt content for UK audiences while maintaining each client's brand positioning.
Client Management & Business Development
- Manage strategic client accounts and ensure outstanding service delivery.
- Present campaign strategies, reports and recommendations with confidence.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines and profitability.
- Support pitches, proposals and new business opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for growth within the UK tourism, travel and hospitality sectors.
- Expand and nurture a strong professional network across the industry.

Leadership & Team Support
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering collaboration, innovation and excellence.
- Elevate team performance through effective leadership and coaching.
- Support cross-market collaboration with international KLEBER GROUP teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Tourism, Business or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience in PR, communications, tourism marketing or travel trade, ideally within an agency or consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of the UK travel, tourism and media landscape.
- Established relationships with UK travel media, tourism organisations and travel trade partners.
- Experience managing integrated PR and travel trade campaigns from strategy through execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and business development mindset.
- Experience using digital marketing, media monitoring and analytics tools.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Professional, proactive and collaborative approach.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
- English speaker (or equivalent level proficiency) required. Additional languages are an advantage but not essential.
