Senior Practitioner
Team: Family Safeguarding Team
Salary: £49,282 - £53,460 up to £1,000 welcome bonus (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Are you an experienced and passionate social worker ready to make a real impact in safeguarding children and supporting families?
Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for a Senior Practitioner to join Hertfordshire’s Family Safeguarding Team. As a Senior Practitioner in this innovative, multi-disciplinary team, you’ll deliver strengths-based interventions that keep families together and children safe. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a nationally recognised model that’s transforming outcomes for children and families.
About You
- Social Work England registered
- 3 years post-qualified, with a completed ASYE
- Experienced in safeguarding and child protection
- A confident communicator and team collaborator
- Passionate about supporting families and achieving sustainable change
- Committed to best practice and continuous development
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Confident communicator with sound professional judgment and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, thresholds, and multi-agency working

The Role:
- Deliver strengths-based safeguarding interventions using Hertfordshire’s Family Safeguarding model
- Manage your own caseload and contribute to statutory planning, including Child Protection Conferences and court proceedings
- Deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings
