Overview
The Shore Group have partnered with a leading D&B Office Fit-Out company to recruit a Senior Pre-Construction Manager to join their London team.
With an exceptional reputation for creativity, client service, and project delivery, the business operates at the premium end of the commercial office fit-out market, delivering CAT A and CAT B projects typically valued between £2m and £30m.
Due to continued growth and success, the business is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to take ownership of high-value workplace fit-out projects, leading the coordination of design, commercial, procurement, and client engagement activities throughout the preconstruction process.
Working closely with Project Directors, clients, and project teams, you'll lead workplace fit-out projects through the preconstruction phase, taking ownership of design coordination, cost planning, client engagement, and work-winning activities from initial enquiry through to contract award.
This opportunity will suit an ambitious Preconstruction Manager looking to take the next step in their career. We're keen to speak with individuals who want greater involvement in client engagement, presentations, pitches, and the wider work-winning process, whilst developing their expertise across more complex workplace fit-out projects. In return, you'll join a highly respected business that offers excellent exposure, responsibility, and genuine long-term career progression.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
