Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Cloud Presales Consulting team, working across the UK, Ireland, and Benelux to identify, shape, and close strategic opportunities in collaboration with sales, delivery, and partners. In this customer-facing role, you will support the full sales lifecycle—from discovery to solution design and proposal development—driving cloud transformation and AI-led innovation aligned with customer needs and business goals. Combining strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and customer engagement skills, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers modernise infrastructure, unlock data value, and adopt scalable cloud and AI solutions.

Opportunity Shaping & Solution Design
- Shape opportunities with sales and customers; design tailored AWS cloud, data, and AI solutions
- Define scope and commercials, support proposals (incl. SOWs), and deliver workshops and demos

Sales & Customer Engagement
- Support the full sales lifecycle from discovery to close and drive pipeline growth
- Act as a trusted advisor while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities

Market & Solution Development
- Stay current on AWS, Data, and AI trends to inform solutions
- Develop reusable collateral and support go-to-market initiatives with sales and marketing teams
Job Requirements
AWS & multi-cloud
- Solid AWS solution design experience with knowledge of Azure and GCP
- Experience with cloud migrations, modernisation, and cloud-native architectures
Data & AI
- Experience designing data platforms, analytics solutions, and AI/ML use cases
- Ability to translate business challenges into AI-enabled solutions
Technical Skills
- Expertise in cloud architecture, migrations, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with containers, serverless, data platforms, and cloud security best practices
Certifications
- AWS Associate Architect (required) and AWS Solutions Architect
- AWS ML/Data and Azure or GCP certifications (desirable)
Skills
- Strong customer-facing, presentation, and collaboration skills across sales and delivery teams
- Commercially aware with the ability to translate business challenges into effective technical solutions
