A successful backup storage vendor is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer for UK South. They combine high-speed disk storage and deduplication which is ransomware-resistant. This is a fully remote role.
DESCRIPTION:
They are seeking an experienced, commercially-focused Presales Engineer to assist in the sales process by providing viable and compelling solutions to customers and working closely with partners.
By utilising relevant, consultative technical sales techniques the Presales Engineer will:
Deliver online or in person technical product demonstrations to enterprise customers. Deliver product technical & operational training to partners. Work closely with channel partners. Assist sales team in responding to RFP's or answering technical questions customer or prospects may have. Develop an understanding of the customer's business objectives in order to map a strategy consisting of software, training, and implementation as a solution to those business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

5 or more years’ experience as a Systems Engineer providing Pre-Sales Support of data storage and backup solutions sold to IT operations groups. BA/BS in Computer Science or Technology preferred (or equivalent work experience) Strong experience in providing systems configuration, product training, demo and sales support directly to prospects, customers and channel partners. Highly knowledgeable of technologies, industry trends, operation and support of back up products, data protection products or storage products. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel 25% to 30% of time. Entrepreneurial spirit and know how to win large complex deals. Hard working, driven, competitive and creative.
