Job Description

Senior Pricing Analyst

Location: London, Birmingham, Leeds, or another UK office

Working pattern: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)

Contract type: Full-time

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Pricing Analyst to join our global Pricing & Commercial team. The role supports partners and senior stakeholders across the international firm by providing data-driven insight, developing pricing models, and helping shape the commercial approach to client engagements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on a visible and strategic role within a growing function.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, refine, and maintain pricing models to support fee proposals, alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), and commercial negotiations. Analyse historical matter data, profitability trends, and pricing performance to generate actionable insights. Support partners and matter teams in preparing pricing proposals for complex, cross‑border matters. Develop pricing approaches for technology-enabled legal solutions Provide scenario modelling and financial analysis to inform commercial decision‑making. Collaborate with Finance, BD, Legal Project Management, and Practice Groups to ensure alignment on pricing strategy and matter economics. Contribute to the enhancement of pricing tools, templates, and processes. Assist in the preparation of client‑facing pricing materials and panel submissions. Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, helping to build pricing awareness and commercial capability across the firm.

About You

Experience in pricing or similar roles—ideally within law firms or professional services environment. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability. Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to non‑financial stakeholders. Confident, proactive, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality output. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Working Expectations

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in one of our UK offices. The Pricing remit covers the entire international firm, so the role requires flexibility and responsiveness. Flexibility required - the successful candidate may need to start earlier or finish later when required, particularly when supporting time‑sensitive proposals or working with colleagues in other time zones.
