Senior Pricing Analyst
Senior Analyst (Marine Pricing) – 2x Roles (1-2 & 4-5 years’ experience)
About the Role
We are recruiting for 2x Senior Analyst roles within a global speciality and commercial (re)insurer, focusing on strategic support for the Marine Portfolio pricing team.
Role Objectives
- Provide analytical and technical support in pricing models, case pricing, portfolio reviews and pricing insights.
- Collaborate closely with underwriters, pricing actuaries, and broader insurance teams.
- Assist in deploying pricing models across commercial and speciality lines (London market experience preferred).

Experience & Qualifications

Entry-Level Role (1-2 years’ experience preferred):
- Basic understanding of insurance pricing, preferably in speciality/commercial lines.
- Some familiarity with actuarial studies (progress towards actuarial exams is an advantage).

Mid-Level Role (4-5 years’ experience required):
- Strong background in commercial or speciality insurance pricing, ideally in the London market.
- Knowledge of pricing methodologies, marine risk modelling, and data-driven insights.
- Actuarial progress or existing qualifications are desirable but not always mandatory.

Skills & Attributes
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in statistical pricing models.
- Technical proficiency in model deployment and validation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (requiring close underwriter partnerships).
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights for pricing decisions.
