Senior Pricing Analyst Standard Motor Risk Selection Team – Allianz UK
About the Role
Ready to shape the future of pricing? Allianz UK is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst for a hybrid role, allowing flexibility between their London office and remote working. In this pivotal position, you’ll:
- Conduct statistical analysis to drive decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance pricing models and customer product offerings
- Drive innovation within a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the future of insurance solutions
Responsibilities
As Senior Pricing Analyst, your key contributions will include:

Risk Model Updates:
- Continuously improving data accuracy and pricing processes
- Assessing the impact of model changes and overseeing implementation

Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Aligning with cross-functional teams (underwriting, brokers, etc.) to understand data needs and modelling objectives

End-to-End Data Handling:
- Working with raw data from source to finalised rating adjustments and actionable results
- Modelling rating changes and ensuring implementation of revised policies

Analysis & Communication:
- Sophisticated analysis of pricing performance and underwriting trends
- Translating technical findings into clear insights for non-technical leaders

Monitoring & Strategy:
- Reviewing pricing/underwriting monitors; escalating outliers or deviations
- Proactively analysing underwriting footprint and recommending expansion/optimisation
- Defining project priorities (e.g., rate reviews) with managers and tracking progress

Requirements
Essential Skills
- Proven expertise in advanced personal lines pricing
- Technical Proficiency:
- SQL and Python for data analysis
- Experience with statistical modelling platforms (e.g., WTW Radar or Databricks)
- Strong verbal/written communication to bridge technical and business audiences
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Responsible AI practices in pricing
