An exciting opportunity to join a major UK retail insurer undergoing a significant Pricing & Analytics transformation.

We’re looking for Senior Analysts to lead and support projects across Motor or Home, focused on improving the predictive power and segmentation of claims cost and demand models using both traditional actuarial and modern data science techniques.

The Role

  • Create, validate and reconcile datasets for analysis
  • Build, maintain and deploy risk & demand rating models
  • Contribute to rate deployment and testing cycles
  • Develop monitoring & performance insight for stakeholders
  • Support underwriting and pricing strategy with technical input
  • Ensure pricing decisions consider customer fairness & governance

Ideal Background

  • Experience in insurance pricing (Motor or Home preferred)
  • Strong numerical / statistical foundation
  • Predictive modelling experience (risk and/or demand)
  • Python, R, SAS, SQL or similar
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
