Team: Consumer Pricing Location: London - Hybrid As the scale and complexity of Deliveroo grows, we’re looking for a passionate and intellectually curious Senior Pricing Manager to join our Consumer Pricing Strategy & Operations team. We are a central team with a very large impact, seeking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there around how to monetize our business while improving our affordability for consumers. Consumer pricing is right at the heart of the strategic direction of our global business - and you will not only have the opportunity to own projects end-to-end but regularly collaborate across multiple functions. At the same time, we need to continuously enhance and communicate to customers the overall value we deliver. As a Senior Pricing Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead on multiple strategic initiatives as our business continues to evolve: from building and refining our pricing models across existing and new offerings to determining how to provide better value for money for our consumers. Success in this role will require building excellent working relationships across Deliveroo, be a confident self-starter and have an ability to influence and make things happen. You will be an integral part of our Pricing squad, a cross-functional team composed of pricing business owners, product managers, engineers and data scientists who jointly set their objectives and work together to achieve them. What you’ll be doing Working closely with Product, Data Science and the local markets to identify opportunities to improve our Consumer Pricing processes and algorithms Conducting in-depth performance and competitor analysis to understand trends and inform our price positioning Developing and presenting pricing insights and recommendations to key Exec decision makers Delivering and owning price changes end-to-end, from insight and proposal development to go-to-market launch and iteration Supporting the weekly and monthly pricing reporting cycles to senior stakeholders Requirements 7+ years experience working in a Pricing/Commercial/Consulting/Strategy role Comfortable working with data to build business proposals; analysing and visualising data to identify and communicate key insights and opportunities (working knowledge of SQL preferred but not essential) A proactive, can-do attitude, full of great ideas and proven track record in making things happen - delivering results quickly and efficiently Good communicator and collaborator with a passion for building strong relationships and working cross-functionally
