Exciting Opportunity for a Primary Care Senior Registered Nurse in Forth Valley Prisons
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a primary care senior registered nurse in one of our Forth Valley Prisons. This post will primarily be based within HMP Polmont, however opportunities to move to different sites for development and service need may be provided. Our ethos is to deliver trauma informed, person centred and safe & effective care to our patients.
About the Role

The team are currently undertaking new and exciting opportunities within the Primary Care nursing role. You will deliver high quality care and treatment within this unique environment, working in partnership with SPS, and wider agencies. You will be a vital part of a holistic service, making a significant contribution to the health care needs, outcomes and experience of a complex and vulnerable population.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- First level registered nurse.
- Ability to develop and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.

Application Information
- Please note we anticipate a high level of interest in this position and may close the vacancy early once a sufficient number of applications are received. Therefore, please make sure you complete and submit your application at an early stage.
- As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
