Job Description:
We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Principal Business Analyst to join our Growth Analytics organization in a role focused on improving how King understands, models, and scales growth.
This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Finance, Analytics, and our game teams. You will work on some of the most important commercial questions for the business: how marketing investment translates into player growth, revenue, profitability, and long-term company performance; how CPI, RPI, elasticity, incrementality, and player quality interact; and where King should invest to unlock the next level of sustainable growth.
As Senior Principal Business Analyst, you will help raise the quality of the analytical and commercial thinking behind major growth decisions. You will shape how models are interpreted, challenge whether assumptions make sense, connect insights across teams, and ensure outputs are translated into better investment, forecasting, and strategic decisions.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who can operate independently in ambiguous environments, bring structure to complex business questions, and influence senior stakeholders through analytical depth, commercial judgement, and clear communication.
Your Role Within Our Kingdom
-
Define the Commercial Logic Behind Growth Decisions You will help establish the frameworks King uses to interpret growth performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and connect marketing activity to broader company outcomes. You will ensure that models, assumptions, and recommendations are not only analytically sound, but commercially meaningful and relevant to senior decision-making.
-
Set the Standard for Growth Model Interpretation You will raise the quality of how analytical models are interpreted and applied across the business. This includes assessing outputs from attribution, elasticity, incrementality, forecasting, or player-value models, identifying where outputs are directionally useful or commercially fragile, and ensuring insights are translated into decisions the business can confidently act on.
-
Strengthen Forecasting, Elasticity, and Investment Governance You will shape how forecasting and investment assumptions are created, tested, and governed across growth planning. You will assess how CPI, RPI, player quality, product performance, marketing scale, marginal returns, payback, and expected value interact, ensuring assumptions are evidence-based, commercially realistic, and aligned with company goals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

-
Guide Portfolio-Level Growth Trade-Offs You will bring structure to complex investment questions across games, channels, geographies, audiences, and marketing initiatives. You will help senior stakeholders understand where additional investment is likely to create value, where returns may begin to soften, and where alternative growth opportunities or product synergies should be prioritised.
-
Connect Marketing, Product, Finance, and Company Performance You will shape how the organisation understands the relationship between marketing performance, product outcomes, player behaviour, monetisation, retention, live operations, and company-level growth. You will identify where product momentum, marketing activity, and portfolio strategy can reinforce each other to create stronger commercial outcomes.
-
Drive Better Executive Decision-Making You will turn complex analysis, model outputs, and uncertain evidence into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. You will explain what we know, what we do not know, which assumptions matter most, and what trade-offs are required. Your focus will be on improving the quality, consistency, and confidence of strategic growth decisions across the organisation.
-
Raise the Analytical Bar Across Teams You will act as a senior expert and multiplier across Growth Analytics and partner teams. You will coach others on commercial reasoning, modelling interpretation, assumption quality, and executive communication, helping build stronger analytical judgement across the organisation.
