The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join a growing team delivering innovative infrastructure projects across the South East and beyond. Working on a diverse portfolio of developments, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions while enjoying hybrid and flexible working and excellent opportunities for career progression.
About The Role
You'll work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across a range of sectors, contributing to major developments throughout the region and beyond. Alongside leading your own schemes, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues across our buildings, environmental and transportation teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
As a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading the technical delivery of projects, ensuring designs meet quality, programme and budget requirements. You'll also play an important role in mentoring junior engineers and technicians while supporting the continued growth of the team.
YOUR IMPACT
In This Role, You Will
- Lead the technical delivery and approval of civil infrastructure projects.
- Produce and review high-quality highway and drainage infrastructure designs.
- Deliver projects from concept and planning through to detailed design and construction support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated infrastructure solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, local authorities and key stakeholders.
- Liaise effectively with utility companies, drainage authorities and highway authorities throughout project delivery.
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineers and technicians.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest technical standards.
- Help shape innovative, sustainable infrastructure that delivers positive outcomes for communities.

ABOUT YOU
You'll hold a BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and have experience delivering civil infrastructure projects within a consultancy environment.
You'll Also Bring
- Experience designing highway and drainage infrastructure across all project stages, from concept through to detailed design.
- A strong understanding of infrastructure design principles and relevant UK standards.
- Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary projects and working closely with clients.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with utility companies, drainage authorities and highway authorities.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative approach and passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
- Experience using Civil 3D, InfoDrainage and utility coordination software would be advantageous.
- A passion for delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure and navigating approval processes with regulators and local authorities.
