Location: Manchester, UK / Hybrid Working
We are searching for an experienced Senior/Principal DevOps/CloudOps professional to lead the design, development, and maintenance of a standardized DevOps framework supporting the deployment of reliable, scalable, and secure services in production. This role collaborates closely with Product Teams, Engineering, QA, while also engaging with Service Reliability, Information Security, Architecture, and Service Delivery.
The position is technically hands-on, dividing 75% effort toward framework design and 25% toward implementation and adoption. Responsibilities include optimizing pipelines, automating deployments, reducing friction across teams (Dev, QA, Release, Security), and enabling CI/CD autonomy. You’ll drive platform improvements, Monitor the adoption of new technologies, and ensure seamless scalability.

- Design and refine CI/CD tools and pipelines collaboratively across global engineering teams.
- Onboard product teams to the pipeline while optimizing processes for cost and smooth adoption.
- Introduce Observability across environments to monitor cloud and infrastructure services.
- Build and secure scalable cloud infrastructures adhering to best practices for security, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Assist incident response for cloud and infrastructure issues, fostering quick service recovery.
- Develop tools for cost and resource optimization, ensuring visibility and granular control over cloud spend.
- Maintain cloud infrastructure dependencies with the latest versioning tools to streamline upgrades across development teams.
Required Experience & Skills
✔ Subject matter expertise in DevOps, Cloud Management, and FinOps frameworks. ✔ Proven experience in AWS cloud environments, including infrastructure management and financing considerations. ✔ Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) within cloud deployment strategies. ✔ CI/CD Pipeline expertise, specializing in GitHub and 黑色/自动化/份开发（Scratch, Skala and Continuous Improvements approach). ✔ Experience handling monorepositories for large-scale engineering teams to execute parallel deployments. ✔ Hands-on knowledge of service mesh, orchestration tools (like Kubernetes) for dynamic multi-environment workloads. ✔ Scripting experience in JavaScript, Bash or Python for automation in DevOps contexts. ✔ Familiarity with Information Security best practices throughout the infra/DevOps lifecycle.
