Our client is a well-established independent planning consultancy renowned for delivering high-quality planning advice across a diverse range of development projects, including residential, commercial, retail, and strategic land schemes—from large-scale regeneration projects to bespoke heritage developments.
The team provides a full planning consultancy service, covering:
- Site appraisals
- Planning strategy
- Feasibility advice
- Design input
- Local plan representations

Requirements
- MRTPI accreditation, with strong private sector experience and in-depth knowledge of local authority planning processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex planning applications, including:
- Outline
- Full submissions
- Reserved matters
- Significant experience preparing high-quality planning statements, Statements of Community Involvement, and other supporting documentation with minimal supervision.
- Expert understanding of development management and local plan processes, with capability to:
- Conduct site appraisals
- Provide strategic planning advice
- Experience representing planning proposals at planning committees and managing planning appeals, including hearings and public inquiries.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative planning strategies.
- A commitment to mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
