Marsden Interim are exclusively partnered with a fast-growing global technology company in the search for a Senior Product & Privacy Counsel to join on an initial 6-month fixed term contract basis. London based, hybrid working. Start ideally by early August.
This is a rare opportunity to take on a strategic, business-facing role at the intersection of product, privacy, AI, data governance, and commercial innovation. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a critical role in shaping legal strategy around privacy, data usage, AI governance, and emerging technology regulation, helping the business scale globally while enabling innovation and growth.

Responsibilities
- Leading global privacy compliance initiatives across products and business operations.
- Advising on GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act, and other emerging privacy, security, and AI regulations.
- Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to embed privacy and AI governance into the product lifecycle.
- Shaping data use and monetization strategies, balancing innovation with regulatory requirements.
- Acting as a key adviser on privacy, security, and incident-response matters.
- Monitoring legislative developments and providing practical, commercially focused guidance.
- Drafting and negotiating DPAs, technology agreements, vendor contracts, and product partnerships.
- Supporting the development of privacy, security, and data governance frameworks.

To be considered for this position, you will have extensive experience at a senior level in a similar capacity with a depth of technical knowledge of global privacy law, AI regulations, and related governance. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment will be key to your success in this role.
