Senior Private Credit Professional — Private Asset-Backed Debt

Hedge Fund | Private Assets Team | London

About the Role

We are seeking a senior investment professional to join our Private Assets team, focused on originating, structuring, and executing investments across the full spectrum of asset-backed private debt. This is a P&L-accountable role: you will be responsible for investment performance and generating returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate P&L across a portfolio of private asset-backed debt investments
  • Source, originate, and structure transactions across asset classes including but not limited to: commercial real estate, equipment and specialty finance platforms
  • Lead end-to-end deal execution: due diligence, structuring, documentation (including SPA and LMA frameworks), negotiation, and closing
  • Conduct rigorous credit analysis on underlying assets and collateral pools, covenant structures (including DSCR/ICR, LTV), and structural protections
  • Build and maintain relationships with originators, sponsors, banks, and intermediaries to drive proprietary deal flow
  • Present investment recommendations and portfolio updates to senior management and risk committees
  • Contribute to team-wide process

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
