This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Probate Solicitor to join our enthusiastic and specialist probate team with a high-quality workload.

The work you'll be doing

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Probate Solicitor to join our enthusiastic and specialist probate team with a high-quality workload.

Working closely with other members of the team, the wider private client department and our contentious trusts and probate team, you will:

the administration of large and complex taxable testate and intestate estates including the application of business property and agricultural property reliefs and the calculation of inheritance tax when there are exempt and non-exempt beneficiaries estate administrations on behalf of national charities the preparation of some wills and LPAs including those for elderly people where mental capacity may be in issue which may involve making home and hospital visits to clients on an urgent basis you will also need to supervise the work of other solicitors and paralegals.
