We are working with a leading Food manufacturer to find a Senior Process Technologist who can take new products from development handover all the way through to a successful factory launch.
This is a role for someone who loves the practical side of NPD trials, scale-up, problem-solving and launch delivery within culinary-led, high-growth chilled categories. You'll be the link between the development kitchen and the factory floor, making sure great ideas become products that can actually be made brilliantly, consistently and on time.
- Running exploratory or factory trials and pre-production runs.
- Reviewing trial data and making recommendations on next steps.
- Working through critical paths to keep retailer launch deadlines on track.
- Sitting down with Production to iron out scale-up challenges before launch week.
- Speaking directly with customers on live projects.
- Spotting a process improvement that saves time, reduces waste or lifts quality and making it happen.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Hands-on experience working with production teams in live factory environments

- Good commercial awareness and a solid understanding of factory capability
