Job Description
As a Senior Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing 3rd party Marketing spend through the delivery of identified benefits and the creation of short/mid/long-term value optimization strategies aligned to the objectives of the business.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement you will be part of our Global Procurement team that will form part of the Marketing Procurement team you will to support the team to influence £Multi Million spend across multiple categories for Marketing.

What You Will Do
- Review spend across the group and analyse supplier base and business requirements.
- Identify and lead all content projects ensuring they are delivered on time and target are achieved.
- Engagement and regular catch ups with local and international stakeholders to understand requirements and strategies, identify opportunities, align goals, share best practices and review spend.
- Build a cutting-edge knowledge of the supply base, market trends and provide value adding insights to the content community.
- Understand critical areas for Innovation and build a pipeline of opportunities to be shared with the supplier community.
- Supporting the implementation of the procurement strategy and policy.

Qualifications
- Experience with offline and digital Media, partnerships/sponsorships, creative and martech.
- Outstanding / Excellent verbal and communication skills and the ability to present and summarise a business case to an Executive audience.
- Excellent understanding and management of RFI's, RFP's, RFQ's and Agreements.
- Excellent skills evaluating or monitoring contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
- Commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.
