Senior Procurement Manager
Hackajob is collaborating with OneAdvanced to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.
This is a high impact opportunity to take ownership of key categories across HR and Professional Services and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

This role is hybrid, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in our Birmingham office.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver category strategies across HR and Professional Services, driving commercial value and efficiency
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activity, including negotiation of complex commercial and contractual agreements
- Manage supplier selection, onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing performance
- Partner with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal and Professional Services to influence decision making and embed procurement best practice
- Support the delivery of cost savings targets while balancing risk, quality and business needs
- Manage supplier contracts and scope to ensure strong commercial outcomes and prevent scope creep on delivery projects
- Contribute to the development of procurement processes, tools and policy as the function continues to mature
- Drive a more proactive, data-led approach to procurement across the organisation
- Support key strategic initiatives including technology implementations and outsourced service delivery
Requirements
- Strong experience in strategic supplier procurement
- Proven track record of leading complex contract negotiations, including commercial and contractual terms
- Experience across Professional Services and/or IT services procurement (e.g. implementation partners, consulting, SaaS)
- Ability to independently manage supplier agreements, working closely with Legal where required
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels
- Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of cost drivers, risk and value creation
- Experience operating in fast paced or evolving environments, with the ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
- Resilience, pragmatism and a delivery focused mindset
