Responsible for building strategic procurement & deploy action plans while optimizing ongoing annual savings improvements in defined categories.

Essential Functions

  • Works hand in hand with legal (both internally & externally) and administers contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
  • Provides liaison to legal department for contract or terms and conditions issue resolution
  • Provides liaison to AP department to resolve vendor reconciliations or questions
  • Assists internally with purchase of goods and services necessary for efficient operation of organization.
  • Supports formulation of policies and procedures for bid proposals and procurement of goods and services.
  • Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, internal spend and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
  • Prepares bid proposals and reviews purchase orders for goods and services.
  • Employ best-in-class strategic sourcing techniques to optimize CyrusOne spend through formal competitive processes to reduce costs and improve quality/service
  • Liaison between internal and external stakeholders to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and helps determine corrective action.
  • Monitor/measure supplier service levels and resolve any performance issues
  • Develop and foster Strategic Partnerships with key suppliers, manage supplier relationships
  • Assists in setting up policies and procedures for procurement department and working on continuous improvements in this area
  • Manages vendor onboarding (Exiger)
  • Manages and reports on the company travel system
  • Manages all vendor contracts (Salesforce)
  • Participates on the Sustainability team with Supply Chain efforts

Minimum Requirements

  • Results oriented and self-motivated, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform analysis and interpret results into actionable steps
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Outlook and Excel)
  • Must have strong organizational and administrative skills required.

Experience/Skills

  • 10+ years of Purchasing, Sourcing and Procurement experience preferred
  • 10+ years of experience with Contract Negotiation and Administration preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field a plus

Certifications

  • None
