Senior Procurement Manager – IT Products & Services

📍 Birmingham / Oldbury (Hybrid – 3 Days Per Week)
💰 £90,000 - £95,000 Package (Inclusive of Car Allowance) + Bonus + Private Medical Insurance

Are you an experienced IT Procurement leader looking to take ownership of a significant technology spend portfolio within one of the UK's largest and most recognised logistics businesses?

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead the strategic sourcing, supplier management and category development of a £50m+ IT and Technology spend portfolio, supporting a business undergoing continual investment, transformation and growth.

This is a high-profile role operating across IT Infrastructure, Networks, Cyber Security, Applications, Hardware, Professional Services and wider Technology Services, partnering directly with senior stakeholders to influence business-critical procurement decisions.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Procurement leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering category strategies that drive commercial value, supplier performance, innovation and long-term business improvement.

You'll work across major transformation projects, lead complex sourcing initiatives and play a key role in shaping the future technology landscape of a business operating at significant scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement category strategies across IT Products & Services
  • Manage a technology spend portfolio exceeding £50m annually
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFI, RFP, negotiation and contract award
  • Deliver measurable cost savings, value creation and supplier performance improvements
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Operations and Legal
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and contract performance
  • Support major business transformation and technology programmes
  • Drive procurement governance, compliance and best practice
  • Lead and develop members of the IT Commercial team

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience within IT Procurement, Technology Procurement or Strategic Sourcing
  • Strong knowledge across multiple technology categories including Infrastructure, Networks, Cyber Security, Applications, Hardware and Professional Services
  • Proven track record delivering complex sourcing projects and commercial negotiations
  • Experience managing large supplier portfolios and strategic vendor relationships
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing complex financial and contractual data
  • Previous leadership or team management experience
  • MCIPS qualified or working towards qualification would be advantageous
