Procurement Manager
Location: Gloucestershire (Hybrid/ 1 day a week in the office)
About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations. This role is pivotal in optimising procurement processes, strengthening vendor relationships, and leading the transition from ConnectWise to HALO PSA over the next 12 months. You will manage procurement activity end-to-end, conduct audits and reporting, and ensure our systems and suppliers are aligned to support a modern, scalable, values-driven MSP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the full procurement lifecycle within an MSP setting.
- Drive the transition from ConnectWise to HALO, including process mapping, vendor coordination, and operational integration.
- Vendor experience with Microsoft essential along with experience working in the MSP space for 8 years+.
- Perform ongoing procurement audits, compliance checks, and reporting to leadership teams.
- Collaborate with technical, finance, and operations departments to align processes and budgets.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and optimise contracts.
- Implement procurement best practice across spend analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
- Operate in a way that reflects and reinforces the client’s company values.

Required Experience
- Demonstrable experience in procurement within an MSP environment.
- Knowledge of HALO PSA or strong transferrable experience with ConnectWise.
- Strong background in audits, reporting, commercial analysis, and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Ability to work across technical and commercial teams with confidence and clarity.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams at once.

Desirable Experience
- Experience overseeing procurement change programmes or system transitions.
- Understanding of software licensing, IT hardware procurement, and vendor ecosystems.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to present procurement insight in a clear, business-friendly manner.
