🚀 Senior Procurement Manager
About Marshmallow
We’re on a mission to make migration easy. Since our founding in 2017, we’ve grown from 3 to 700+ employees, raised £140M in funding, achieved unicorn status, turned profitable, and insured millions of drivers while lending millions in car loans.
Our goal: Become one of the largest financial services providers in the world over the next decade. We’re hungry for ambitious, commercially driven people who thrive on autonomy, ownership, and pushing boundaries—not coasting.
This environment rewards curiosity, tenacity, and collective success. If that excites you, keep reading.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance for a commercially sharp procurement professional to build procurement from scratch at Marshmallow. Growth has outpaced our processes: spend is fragmented, supplier relationships are informal, and controls are non-existent.
We need someone who:
- Thrives in ambiguity,
- Challenges the status quo,
- Gets satisfaction from turning chaos into order,
- And has real autonomy—along with accountability—to shape Marshmallow’s procurement.
While procurement will be the focus, you’ll also support key partnerships alongside the Partnerships Manager.

We are not in a position to offer sponsorship and/or a visa for this position.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Build the Foundation
Design and implement a practical, fit-for-purpose procurement framework, covering:
- Policy and approval controls,
- Supplier onboarding,
- Purchase-to-pay processes,
- Procurement tool operationalization,
- Transformative spend visibility.
This isn’t theoretical—it’s actionable and adoptable by the team.
2. Own Commercial Negotiations
Lead negotiations across key supplier categories (e.g., professional services, technology, facilities, logistics). Your goal: drive meaningful cost savings and improved terms—not just manage existing arrangements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
