Senior Procurement Manager – External Manufacturing Stefanowo, Poland or Haddenham, UK or Avignon, France

McCormick is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Procurement Manager – External Manufacturing to lead Procurement Supply Excellence Operations and Business Engagement Partnerships across EMEA.

This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for External Manufacturing, optimizing total cost of ownership, strengthening supplier performance, reducing risk, and ensuring alignment with Business Unit strategies across Consumer and Flavor Solutions.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES #LI-DNI

Lead and develop a team responsible for Procurement Supply Excellence and Business Engagement activities across EMEA. Develop and execute sourcing category strategies for External Manufacturing to optimize cost, value, and risk. Manage supplier performance through robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) practices. Drive Procurement’s involvement in innovation, commercialization, and long-term business planning. Partner with Business Units to align procurement strategy with commercial and operational objectives. Deliver value through cost savings initiatives, supply base optimization, and continuous improvement programs. Lead cross-functional projects to ensure supply continuity and operational excellence, applying lean and six sigma principles. Collaborate with Category Management and Supply Chain teams to achieve optimal Total Cost of Ownership and high stakeholder satisfaction.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. Solid experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain, including significant External Manufacturing exposure (FMCG preferably). Proven team management experience preferred, with the ability to develop and lead high-performing teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, assess business opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. Strong track record of delivering major cost savings initiatives and leading cross-functional projects. Deep understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and supply chain optimization. Commercially astute with the ability to analyze complex business opportunities and manage competing priorities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing topics and priorities. Confident communicator with strong influencing skills and experience engaging senior stakeholders.
