At Aston Martin

Our supply chain is fundamental to everything we achieve. It underpins performance, quality and innovation, and plays a direct role in shaping the future success of the business. Within Procurement, we are responsible not only for selecting and managing our supplier base, but for building long-term, high-value partnerships that drive sustainable competitive advantage.

We are now introducing a pivotal new role — Senior Procurement Manager, Strategic Supply Chain Design — an opportunity to define and deliver the long-term vision of our supply chain and create meaningful impact across the organisation.

The Opportunity

This is a highly strategic position, focused on shaping the future of Aston Martin’s supply chain. Reporting to the Procurement Director, you will lead the definition of a long-term supply chain vision and translate that vision into a clear, actionable roadmap.

  • Working across Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Programmes and Finance, you will act as a senior integrator, aligning priorities and ensuring that decisions are made with an enterprise-wide perspective.
  • Your work will balance cost, resilience, capacity, quality and sustainability, ensuring the supply chain is designed to support both immediate needs and long-term growth.
  • You will also play a key role in building capability, establishing a team aligned to the future operating model and creating a structured, targeted approach to strategic sourcing.

What You’ll Be Doing

At the core of this role is the ownership of supply chain strategy. You will define the target architecture for the future, ensuring alignment across functions and establishing a clear direction for how the supply chain should evolve.

  • You will lead large-scale transformation initiatives, resetting the value chain through structured delivery plans, robust governance and clearly defined roadmaps. This includes rethinking the operating model, optimising the supply base, and shaping decisions around footprint, make versus buy, and assembly strategies.
  • Your work will involve complex trade-offs, requiring a deep understanding of total cost of ownership, risk modelling and long-term value creation. You will ensure that every decision is grounded in data, aligned to business strategy and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Collaboration will be central to your success. You will bring together diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity, while influencing decisions at the highest level without direct authority.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
