Senior Procurement Specialist

Senior Procurement Specialist – Group Procurement Team

Hire in: England (UK) or Scotland (UK)

About the Role

At System C, we develop technology that enhances and transforms health and care outcomes. Procurement is critical in ensuring we partner with the right suppliers, on the right terms, at the right time.

We’re seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our Group Procurement team—a hands-on role for someone passionate about owning full sourcing activity, collaborating with stakeholders, and applying sound commercial judgement in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

This role reports to the Group Procurement and Sustainability Manager.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing across technology and services Spend, including software, SaaS, cloud and hosting, IT services and professional services.
  • Work closely with spend owners to clarify requirements, challenge requests where needed, and deliver value-driven, compliant sourcing outcomes.
  • Shape supplier requirements alongside market engagement to ensure Procurement involvement at the optimal stage.
  • Lead commercial negotiations in partnership with Legal, covering pricing, renewals, contractual obligations, and exit strategies.
  • Manage a clear pipeline of contracts and renewals, prioritising workloads and driving timely execution.
  • Apply Delegation of Authority to ensure third-party spend over £25K receives proper pricing, governance, and compliance reviews.
  • Uphold internal policies, controls and governance in all procurement activity.
  • Uncover opportunities for cost savings, supplier rationalisation, and process improvement.
  • Support supplier performance management via proportionate review frameworks and clear KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Compliance to assess and manage supplier risk (e.g. information security, data protection, financial stability, business continuity).
  • Promote sustainable, ethical, and transparent procurement aligned with System C’s policies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
