Senior Procurement Manager

Overview

As an Senior Procurement Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams, nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement strategy and delivery, including tendering, bid analysis, negotiation, and contract award
  • Drive value for clients through robust commercial management, including cost planning, supplier performance, and value engineering
  • Oversee project financials, including valuations, cost reporting, variation management, and final accounts
  • Manage commercial risk, including claims, disputes, and loss and expense negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships, supporting business development and repeat work
  • Coordinate and deliver OFCI packages within the broader project environment
  • Contribute to project delivery through:
    • Stakeholder coordination
    • Issue resolution
    • Participation in key meetings
  • Promote best practice in project governance, processes, and safe delivery, including on-site engagement as required
  • Lead and develop team members, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are an experienced cost manager on large-scale construction projects with increasing levels of leadership
  • Are chartered or on the path to chartership (we can help!)
  • Are savvy in understanding the business model and pursuing market opportunities
  • Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction or project management discipline
  • Have experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects
  • Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with teams and clients through a shared purpose, openness, and fun
