Senior Event Producer (Los Angeles, Vancouver, Guildford)
Hybrid - Not Remote

We’re a multi-functional group with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the center of the broader sports and entertainment ecosystem.
The Global Events Team is EA’s premier Event and Broadcast Production team, supporting all events across the EA SPORTS and EA Entertainment portfolio, including franchise, Esports, and corporate events.
Reporting to a Global Event Lead, you will drive and execute the planning and production of high-value in-person and digital events that are premium and safe, immersive and engaging, and that support the franchise Brand strategy and narrative.
We are looking for a highly collaborative leader with a strong ability to influence stakeholders who can build successful teams, has great communication and project management skills, and is able to prioritize amongst lots of moving parts.
Primary events include creator, press, consumer and commercial events, content shoots, as well as large industry events and trade shows. This role also supports creating the franchise global event strategy.
Responsibilities
- Work cross functionally with internal teams and manage external vendors to create high quality and engaging in-person and digital event and broadcast experiences that meet global campaign and brand objectives.
- Drive and align franchise event strategy and specific event plans in partnership with cross functional teams including Brand, Strategy, Integrated Communications, IT and Security teams.
- Partner with local territory teams across the globe to deliver event experiences to a global audience.
- Work with Brand and Comms teams to define gameplay experiences, write briefs for events, and partner with franchise development teams on delivery of these experiences as part of the ongoing development roadmap.
- Manage a matrix of vendors including experiential and design agencies, production partners including design, build, print, AV, video production and broadcast, ensuring smooth collaboration with specialist agencies for Gameplay IT, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity as well as digital event platforms, and travel services.
- Negotiate and review contracts and act as a point of contact for event vendors and internal partners, such as legal, security, treasury and finance teams.
- Ensure EA’s events are accessible and inclusive to its audiences.
- Manage event platforms and technology.
- Manage event assets and route for approvals as needed.
- Oversee event budget tracking to drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure all events meet objectives, reach metrics and adhere to spending guidelines.
- Facilitate attendee communications and guest experience touch points including event attendee logistics (Know Before You Go) and registration.
- Utilize AI tools to drive efficiency including to research options, plan event logistics, and imagine design solutions.
- Manage event sponsorships and partnership activations, ensuring all partner deliverables are executed to a high standard across live and digital experiences.
- Able to schedule work flexibly including off-hours and weekends. Willing and able to travel to support physical events onsite domestically and internationally.

Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in event production, marketing, program management. Previous experience in Livestream Production / Production Management is a plus.
- Have a good understanding of event platforms, broadcast and technology. Familiarity with Game Development is a plus.
- Critical thinker who can analyze situations and come up with creative solutions that are compliant with EA policy.
- Able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once, always anticipating the next move and need within the team and for the audience.
- Able to work independently while ensuring process compliance, proactively asking for guidance and feedback.
- A creative/clever problem solver who is comfortable making decisions and facilitating collaborative conversations with cross-functional partner teams. Not afraid to ask questions or raise concerns.
- A high-energy, self-motivated team player who is willing to jump in and help with big projects and learn on the go.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage and present to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Sound judgment and discretion; strong ethical character capable of handling confidential and financial information.
- Interpersonal savvy: ability to work effectively with numerous remote colleagues, across many different departments within the company, across different time zones across the globe.
- Comfortable working individually as well as with a team.
- Highly proficient in Google Suite/Drive, MS Office. Possess strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Airtable skills. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD experience is a plus.
- Meet all travel eligibility requirements for international travel including holding a valid passport, ability to apply for any necessary visas / permits, proof of vaccinations, and testing requirements.
- Entertainment and/or gaming industry knowledge is a plus.

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$92,900 - $129,200 CAD
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$104,400 - $157,400 USD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including:
