We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Product Designer for Recommend. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end user experience of Wise’s referral program, acting as a constant advocate for a design-led and user-friendly approach. You will oversee the full referral lifecycle, from initial strategy and customer awareness to ensuring a smooth sharing experience and successful reward claims.

Here’s How You’ll Be Contributing

Lead the Referral Experience: Own the end-to-end UX for the referral program, ensuring every touchpoint from awareness to reward claim is seamless. Strategic Influence: Proactively contribute to the team’s product vision and quarterly planning, influencing the overall referral strategy and managing stakeholders' expectations. Collaborative Design: Work side-by-side with Content Designers and sync regularly with PMs, Engineers and Operations to align on design strategy. User-Centric Research: Conduct comprehensive UX research activities including interviews, surveys and competitor analysis to define use cases and test solutions. Full-Stack Execution: Drive the design process from ideation and storyboarding to high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototyping. Organisation: Manage the design calendar, Kanban boards and Jira tickets while maintaining clear documentation for engineering handovers. Quality Assurance: Partner with engineers during the build phase and lead QA efforts with documented follow-up actions to ensure design integrity.

About You

You have a well established track record of experience as a Product Designer, championing customer-first design initiatives in world class teams You’ve got a portfolio of well-crafted, impactful work that solves real problems for real people. You default to prototyping when presenting your work. You’re a natural collaborator, designing in the open, leveraging other functions’ expertise and taking them on the journey with you. You understand that good design is often a journey to identify the right thing to build, using early concepts and prototypes to help build conviction along the way. You have a high-level of design craft, strong visual skills and an interest in brand You are comfortable designing for mobile surfaces You’ve worked with design systems to produce beautiful and functional design that scales. You practise evidence-based design, and can rationalise your decisions clearly and credibly.
