Senior Product Designer
Location: Nine Elms, London – Full-time
About Zapp
Zapp is London’s leading premium convenience retail platform. Founded in 2020, our vision is to disrupt the multi-trillion dollar convenience retail market, by developing best-in-class customer-centric technology and fulfilment solutions. Zapp partners with some of the world’s leading brands to deliver an exclusive range of hand-picked products 24/7, delivered in minutes.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives at the intersection of usability and design strategy. You’ll lead design projects for both our customer-facing app and internal tools used by our operations and commercial teams, ensuring seamless and scalable experiences across the board.
You’ll work closely with the company’s Founder to continue our mission to build the most loved on-demand delivery experience in the world. You’ll thrive here if you’re driven by deep user empathy, passionate about thoughtful design, and able to move fast without compromising craft or clarity.
Responsibilities
- Lead product design efforts for our mobile app and internal operations/commercial tools
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to define user problems and co-create practical, elegant design solutions. Communicate design concepts and research findings effectively.
- Map out user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that balance usability, efficiency, data accuracy, and visual clarity. Use Figma for wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and experiment with AI tools to accelerate design and handoff.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and field observations with internal teams (Warehouse, Customer Experience, Supply Chain, Category Managers) and visit our Distribution and Fulfilment Centers to understand real-world needs.
- Design efficient interfaces for key systems (Supplier, Inventory, Rider Dispatch, Warehouse Management), focusing on core workflows like picking, packing, and dispatching in a bustling fulfilment center—and dispatching across different environments (handhelds, desktops).
- Contribute to and help evolve our design system, by standardising a component library, establishing design processes, and improving documentation for consistency and scalability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
