Senior Product Designer
Senior Product Designer @ LemFi
LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.
Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.
What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.
With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn’t limit financial opportunity.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer with a serious visual craft spike. Millions of people trust LemFi with their money, and the interface is where that trust is won or lost. You'll own the look, feel, and polish of core product experiences: typography, layout, colour, motion, micro-interaction, and the design system that holds it all together.
You don’t need fintech experience. You need a portfolio that proves you ship beautiful, coherent consumer products at scale. Many of our favorite designers started in visual, brand, or digital design and grew into product. If that's your path, this role plays to your strengths.
How You'll Contribute
- Own end-to-end design for core product flows, from concept through to shipped UI
- Set and raise the visual bar across the LemFi app: craft details others miss
- Build and evolve our design system, including components, documentation, and patterns that scale across squads and markets
- Bring brand and product together so the app feels unmistakably LemFi at every touchpoint
- Partner closely with product managers and engineers to ship pixel-accurate work, fast
- Use AI tools as a native part of your workflow, from ideation and art direction to production

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who You Are
- A craft-first designer: your portfolio leads with stunning, considered UI, not just process decks
- A systems thinker who builds reusable foundations, not one-off screens
- Comfortable across the full product process (discovery, testing, iteration) but happiest making things look and feel exceptional
- Direct, low-ego, and fast: you’d rather ship and learn than debate in the abstract
- Energised by designing for a global, multi-market, multi-language audience
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years in digital design, with recent years in product design for consumer-facing apps or platforms
- A portfolio of shipped work showing exceptional UI craft and visual judgment
- Hands-on design systems experience: building component libraries, documentation, and governance
- Expert-level Figma, plus fluency with AI-assisted design tools
- Experience working with engineers on implementation and handover
- (Bonus) brand design, art direction, motion, or multi-market/multilingual product experience
