Senior Product Designer – Core Experience
Senior Product Designer – Format Foundations (Fitness & Emerging Content Formats)
Spotify’s Core Experience team designs the consumer experience—from mobile/desktop apps to smart speakers, TVs, cars, and integrations. Our mission is to make listening effortless, personal, and joyful for billions, shaping every touchpoint.
We’re looking to expand our Format Foundations team, which focuses on Spotify’s core content formats (artist/albums pages, podcasts, audiobooks, clips, countdowns, and emerging formats). This role will initially focus on shaping Spotify’s end-to-end Fitness experience while defining the future of new content formats.
What You’ll Do
- Design end-to-end product experiences to help listeners discover, engage, and return to emerging formats (prioritising Fitness initially).
- Craft intuitive, visually compelling mobile-first user journeys that excel in ease of use and delight.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Data Scientists, and Designers to identify opportunities and deliver impactful outcomes.
- Develop concepts, user flows, prototypes, and refined product experiences that guide strategy and execution.
- Explore how new formats should integrate into Spotify while finding ways to evolve the overall product experience.
- Strengthen listener-creator relationships through thoughtful design.
- Contribute to long-term format innovation that expands Spotify’s catalog strategy.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., Figma plugins, generative AI) to accelerate prototyping and experimentation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
