Senior Product Designer

Senior Product Designer – Rightmove Plus Platform

About the Role

Our vision is to give everyone the belief that they can make their move. We aim to make moving simpler, by giving everyone the best place to turn to and return to for access to the tools, expertise, trust and belief to make it happen.

We’re home to the UK’s largest choice of properties and are the go-to destination for millions of people planning their next move, reading the latest industry news, or browsing what’s on the market.

We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Rightmove Plus Platform team, which focuses on initiatives that cut across multiple product areas to strengthen the foundations of the Partner experience, delivering more consistent, scalable, and connected products.

As the sole designer embedded in this team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Product Manager and engineers to shape experiences used by thousands of property professionals daily. This includes work on navigation, dashboards, settings, account experiences, and emerging AI-powered initiatives.

You’ll also be part of our wider XD (Product Design) team, a community of Product Designers, Content Designers, and User Researchers.

Role: Reporting to the Lead Product Designer for Customer Work arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Soho, London office, 3 days from home.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy and Ownership

  • Own end-to-end improvements across key Rightmove Plus platform experiences, with a focus on simplifying user journeys and improving consistency.
  • Support technical and platform initiatives covering:
    • Navigation and information architecture
    • Dashboards and settings
    • Account management
    • AI-powered experiences
  • Work across multiple product teams to create connected and consistent Partner experiences.

Design and Delivery

  • Craft solutions through user journeys, flows, wireframes, UI design, and prototypes.
  • Partner with the Product Manager to align on roadmap and strategic priorities.

Collaboration and Insights

  • Collaborate with User Research, Content Design, and other designers to refine the design process.
  • Proactively run research and usability testing to validate ideas and refine designs.
  • Use analytics and qualitative insights to measure impact and continuously improve shipments.
  • Work closely with engineers during delivery to ensure experiences are technically feasible, accessible, performant, and consistent.

Consistency and Scalability

  • Create reusable patterns, guidance, and frameworks that improve consistency and help Partner teams deliver high-quality experiences efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Design Systems Senior Product Designer and Partner teams to shape shared components, patterns, and experience standards—balancing scalability with team-specific needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
