Job Description

Location: The Innovation Center, Catalyst, Queens Rd, Belfast BT3 9DT, United Kingdom

Senior Product Designer

๐Ÿ“ Belfast (Hybrid) | ๐Ÿ’ฐ Competitive salary + benefits

TeamFeePay (TFP) is one of the biggest grassroots football club management platforms in the UK. We support over 2,000 football clubs and 250,000+ coaches, players, parents and guardians on the platform, and weโ€™re now expanding into Italy, Spain and the rest of Europe. Weโ€™re a scale-up growing rapidly, and design is core to that growth.

โญ About Our Design Team

We're organised into three squads: Pitch-side Experience, Clubhouse Experience and Platform. This role sits in Pitch-side Experience: the squad focused on what happens matchday: team sheets, live updates and the tools coaches, players and parents use on the day.

Our designers come from a variety of different backgrounds. As long as you enjoy learning new things, we'd love to talk to you: we do not ask for formal qualifications or degree requirements for any of our design roles.

๐Ÿ”‘ Your day-to-day

  • Own the end-to-end design of Pitch-side Experience: the matchday tools coaches, players and parents use on the day.
  • Combine strong craft with sound judgement on ambiguous design problems, and know when to diverge from our design system.
  • Run or commission research, test with users, and iterate based on real evidence rather than opinion.
  • Mentor other designers, raise the bar in critique, and be a trusted design partner to engineering and product.

๐Ÿคฉ You should apply if

  • you have significant mobile app design experience
  • you have Strong experience of product design
  • you can turn a vague brief into clear design direction, and are persuasive in reviews and stakeholder discussions
  • you're research-literate: you validate ambiguous problems with real users rather than opinion
  • you enjoy mentoring and raising the design bar for the people around you

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
