Senior Product Designer
Aave
The Aave Companies are focused on innovation in Web3 and have cultivated a thriving, collaborative culture. Valuing expertise and dedication, the Aave fam is welcoming, passionate, and eager to build great products. We celebrate differences and seek to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool…and we’re hiring!
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who has shipped several recognized, high quality mobile/web apps (Web2 or Web3), is highly skilled in Figma, has an end-to-end suite of design skills (wireframing, visual design, prototyping, user testing, motion, exposure to FE dev processes – coding skills not required but some experience and an understanding helps), and experience across several successful products/teams in the past.
The ideal candidate will have previously built and maintained full design systems used by internal teams, and have a passion and pride for clean, component-driven Figma designs. Ideally, you have already used Web3 apps for a while and have an understanding of Web3 UX constraints, and are passionate about reducing the friction and improving the user experience of those.
This role will be working in a team of 8-9 designers across existing and new products and will be at the forefront of industry defining Web3 applications, working with a talented team, equally passionate about their craft, and having fun while doing their best work.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key product stakeholders on regular basis to define requirements and prioritize key product features.
- Collaborate with key project team members, including other designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Operate prototyping, wireframing as well as designing the whole process end-to-end.
- Portfolio demonstrating extensive experience solving the most complex UX problems and designing thoughtful, innovative web and mobile experiences for large-scale clients.
- Communicate design ideas to stakeholders, developers, and product managers through task flow diagrams, user journeys/scenarios, as well as low and high-fidelity wireframes and mockups.
- Create and revise information architecture documents including site maps, user personas, user scenarios, use cases, wireframes, flow diagrams/process maps, and detailed user interface specifications.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to appropriate teams.
- Ability to work with development teams to execute best design solutions within technology constraints.
- Ensure adherence to design guidelines and best practices across all platforms with aesthetic appeal and usability.
- Create and run ideation workshops in support of new product explorations.
- Lead the design of user interface and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, heuristic site evaluations, competitive site analysis, and other forms of requirement discovery.
- Evaluate the user experience design of existing design concepts as well as on-device prototypes and communicate design enhancements.
- Research interaction design & technology trends.
- Expert in Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean methodologies
- Deep knowledge about web and mobile UX patterns, best practices, and emerging technologies. A good understanding of modern web development practices is a bonus.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to switch between tasks across projects seamlessly.
- Be a leader in user-centered design principles to create experiences that meet user needs and address business goals.
- Transform ideas, feedback, and business opportunities into reusable, scalable design system patterns and components that meet user needs
- Champion our design system internally and externally.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
