Senior Product Designer
Senior Product Designer - United Kingdom
This high-impact design role is based in the United Kingdom and is offered through a partner company. As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape the user experience of a modern benefits platform that simplifies insurance, pensions, and employee benefits for companies and teams across Europe.
You’ll design complex financial and insurance workflows into intuitive, high-quality digital experiences, collaborating with engineering and product teams in a fast-paced, craft-driven environment. This role comes with strong ownership, creative influence, and the chance to define foundational design standards, systems, and patterns that will scale alongside the product.
If you enjoy tackling ambiguous UX challenges, crafting scalable design systems, and working in an environment where speed of execution meets precision, this role is for you.
Accountabilities
- Own and design key product areas from early discovery to final implementation, ensuring seamless user journeys.
- Translate complex product challenges into clear user flows, interaction models, and intuitive interface designs.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to scope, prototype, and launch features at high velocity.
- Design and evolve scalable design systems, reusable UI components, and consistent UX patterns across the platform.
- Improve product quality through user-centric critique, interaction refinement, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly using modern AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to validate concepts and test solutions.
- Contribute to broader product strategy and design direction, shaping the platform’s future beyond individual features.
- Advocate for design excellence, ensuring clarity, usability, and consistency across all user touchpoints.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, ideally in B2B, fintech, HR tech, or data-heavy environments.
- Strong end-to-end ownership mindset, with expertise across discovery, UX/UI design, and product delivery.
- Deep understanding of interaction design, systems thinking, and scalable UX patterns.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems, prioritising reusability and consistency.
- Ability to balance speed and craft—rapid iteration while refining polished details.
- High level of autonomy, initiative, and ownership in dynamic product environments.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) for prototyping and testing.
- Portfolio demonstrating product thinking, interaction design, and refined visual execution.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with cross-functional experience.
