About Us
We’re on a mission to protect society from fraud and money laundering. We’ve already protected over 2 million people through life’s big transactions, with a core aim to protect 3 million people by the end of 2025.
Fraud and regulation are rising, costing the UK economy over £100bn every year; this makes it more difficult for businesses to protect themselves and their clients - individuals like you and me from fraud and money laundering.
Our co-founders Olly and Jack were led to this area when a friend was defrauded of £25K when buying their first property. At the time, anti-fraud technology didn’t exist, which meant that completing the anti-fraud checks required in these processes was largely manual. These big life moments should be exciting, but instead are often confusing and scary due to the painful process of completing these paper-based checks and the risk of fraud.
Thirdfort helps businesses to facilitate these anti fraud checks so that individuals know they can transact safely and seamlessly with professionals during these big transactions. Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app based document checks, facial recognition and open banking.
Over 1,500 businesses now trust Thirdfort to verify their clients. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $33m in capital from leading Fintech investors Breega and Element Ventures, as well as the founders of Zoopla, Funding Circle, Comply Advantage, Tessian, Fenergo and Fidel.
Design at Thirdfort
Our designers don't just make things look good, we solve problems that matter. When law firms struggle with 6-month property transactions, we design systems that cut that to 4 weeks. When compliance teams drown in manual processes, we create workflows that feel effortless while meeting regulatory requirements. We ask “why” until we have the ability to bring clarity to the problem space, and deliver an experience that is so simple, it feels like it was always that way.
We're looking for designers who are creative problem solvers at their core; viewing complex challenges as creative opportunities. You'll work with stakeholders who understand that good design drives business outcomes, not just user satisfaction. Our team values designers who can articulate design decisions in terms of reduced friction, decreased time to value, improved completion rates, and measurable impact on client success.
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll own end-to-end design for one of our core product domains while championing the evolution of our design system. You'll collaborate directly with product managers and engineers in a flexible environment, with access to our London & Manchester offices for team collaboration.
You'll join a small & focused design team where your voice shapes product direction. We work collaboratively with product and engineering partners (EPD) who respect design expertise and expect you to own your domain. The Design team is hybrid team that gets together 1x per week, every Wednesday in our London office. Of course, if you’d like the be in the office more, it’s there to bring the collaboration that is needed to build great products.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
