Senior Product Designer

Duration: 3 – 6 Months initially
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid (North London)
Industry: Digital Healthcare

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Product Designer to join a leading digital healthcare provider on a 3 to 6-month contract basis.

Working out of an North London location with hybrid flexibility, your primary focus will be taking ownership of the organisation’s design system. You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure global design consistency, feasibility, and strong user experience across digital health products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for nurturing, developing, and maintaining the organisation’s design system and component/token libraries.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible, efficient to build, and implemented as intended.
  • UX/UI Delivery: Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for stakeholder reviews and testing.
  • User Testing & Insights: Plan and participate in user research/interviews to identify friction points and feed insights into the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate on data-gathering initiatives and prepare UI assets for A/B testing.

  • Design Systems: Strong hands-on experience creating and scaling design systems and token libraries.
  • Figma Expertise: Advanced skills using Figma (auto-layout, components, variables, design tokens).
  • Technical Understanding: Good working knowledge of HTML/CSS and mobile development constraints across iOS and Android.
  • Portfolio: A clear portfolio demonstrating digital product design and structured problem-solving.
  • Communication: Comfortable giving, receiving, and integrating constructive design feedback.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing methodologies.
  • Solid familiarity with digital accessibility standards (WCAG).
