Role: Senior Product Developer, Lingerie & Swimwear
Location: Solihull. In-house 4 days per week, 1 day WFH.
The Lounge team is growing! We are looking for a Senior Product Developer to join our in-house Product Team, to help us bring to life the most innovative, luxurious, high-end garments, to excite our customers as the brand and product offering continue to scale rapidly.
We are looking for a Senior Product Developer who is incredibly thorough, has a keen eye for detail and who has experience and an underlying passion for bringing brilliance and perfection into garment fit and feel.
As the team grows, you’ll have the opportunity to grow too! Working alongside our Product Design Team, not only will you be able to develop your skills within this role, but we also want you to bring your own thinking and ideas to drive the team’s development.
What you will do at Lounge:
- Assist our designers in developing the perfect product throughout sample phases that we run as a brand, considering everything from fabric, to fit, to feel... and everything in between.
- Work alongside our Product Development Team to execute fit trials with our fit models, pulling together thorough notes, adhering to organised processes and planning next phases of sampling and product development with the Product Team.
- Supporting Head of Product and Lead Product Developer in continuing our internal development of creating a consistent and perfect fit across our Lounge Collections.
- Managing your own projects from tech packs to final end samples, in a timely manner, ensuring critical path dates are met continuously.
- Liaise clearly and professionally with our suppliers, communicating fit trial feedback, product development plans, and more.
- A keen eye for fit and quality analysis for new and existing Lounge products.
- Good understanding of testing requirements for fabrics & approving wash care instructions to garment care labels.
- Join our journey in pushing sustainability within our Product Team - making suggestions to change designs and advising on suitable substitute fabrics/components and production plans.
- Bring knowledge and experience of Lingerie and Swimwear garments with knowledge of construction, pattern, and grading through different materials and fabrications.
- Work alongside our Merchandising & Product Team to adhere to internal critical paths and supplier communications, to ensure business needs and product development plans are met efficiently.

We would love it if you:
- Have a degree in Contour Fashion or Fashion and an underlying passion for womenswear.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar relevant role.
- Are passionate about sustainability and product development within the era of the conscious consumer.
- Are confident liaising with our wider Product Team and suppliers across the world - with a professional and organised mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Are excited to take on an extremely fast-moving role, taking on everything from fit to feel of product, fabric testing and fitting samples, whilst also analysing product returns and faults, and making well thought out, strategic changes to improve the brand's overall offering for our community.
