The role

Diagnostic healthcare is broken. This company is fixing it, building the API infrastructure that makes patient data from wearables and lab tests accessible, automated, and actionable. They stream millions of wearable data points per second, process millions of lab tests annually across all 50 US states, and are targeting 40 million diagnostics by 2026. They're profitable, haven't touched their Series A, and are backed by leading investors. This isn't just a tech problem; it's about enabling personalised, proactive care at scale.

You'll join a small, rapidly scaling engineering team, growing from six to 18 this year. This means significant full-stack ownership across two core product verticals: wearables and lab testing. You'll design and build new features end-to-end, from customer dashboards to core diagnostic APIs. This is a Senior Product Engineer role for someone who thrives on direct customer interaction and iterating based on real usage. It is not a'move fast and break things' environment. Healthcare demands discipline. You'll combine strong product instincts with the rigor to apply them carefully, knowing your work impacts real patients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The work

  • Own the full lifecycle of new features, from initial design to production, across customer-facing dashboards and core diagnostic APIs.
  • Translate messy, underspecified problems — complex insurance rules, lab ordering constraints, incomplete patient data — into clear product plans and intuitive interfaces.
  • Build and scale API infrastructure processing millions of wearable data points per second and millions of lab tests annually.
  • Engage directly with healthcare customers, gather feedback, and use usage data to drive product iterations.
  • Work across a modern full-stack: TypeScript/Next.js (frontend), Python or Go (backend), and cloud infrastructure (GCP).

What You Bring

  • Senior-level product engineering experience at a startup, owning and shipping full-stack features end-to-end. You shaped what to build, not just how.
  • Proficiency across a modern full-stack: TypeScript/Next.js (frontend), Python or Go (backend), and cloud infrastructure (GCP or equivalent) at scale.
  • A track record of taking ambiguous, underspecified problems and delivering clear plans and shipped software.
  • A genuine, specific interest in healthcare and its impact on patients' lives. This is a core filter for the team.
