Our Engineering team plays a vital role in helping the business achieve its goals.

Reporting to our Head of Engineering, you'll take a senior, hands-on role across the full product lifecycle, designing, building and evolving marketable technology products that support our long-term vision.

As a Senior Product Engineer, you'll combine strong full-stack delivery with product thinking, working closely with product and design to shape not just how features are built, but what gets built and why.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of complex features and products end-to-end, leading delivery in close collaboration with the wider engineering team and product/design stakeholders, to deliver high-quality, commercially valuable solutions.
  • Write clean, tested and maintainable code that reflects our engineering principles, balancing simplicity, performance and scalability.
  • Partner closely with Product and Design to shape requirements, challenge assumptions and translate ideas into market-ready technology, from discovery through to release.
  • Ensure your work is thoroughly reviewed and tested and contribute to a high standard of peer code review across the team.
  • Communicate progress, risks and upcoming work clearly to engineering, product and business stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to operational and client-facing teams, resolving issues and communicating technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
  • Support teammates by unblocking others, pairing when needed, and fostering shared ownership across the team.
  • Mentor other engineers through code review, knowledge sessions and day-to-day guidance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools and best practices, bringing fresh ideas and insight to the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
