Senior Product Engineer
Senior Product Engineer (Backend) | London (2 days) | Up to £100k + Benefits
I'm working with a fast-growing fintech business modernising a traditionally underserved sector through a cloud-based payments and operations platform.
They're looking for a Senior Product Engineer with strong backend experience to join a collaborative engineering team, building products that solve complex real-world challenges.
What you'll do
- Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and workflows using Node.js and TypeScript
- Work closely with Product and engineering teams to shape solutions from idea through to delivery
- Contribute to architecture, scalability, and code quality improvements
- Investigate technical issues and support reliable product delivery
- Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve productivity and delivery quality

What you'll need
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience building scalable backend applications and APIs
- A product-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience taking ownership of features from design through to deployment
