Senior Product Engineer

Senior Product Engineer (Backend) | London (2 days) | Up to £100k + Benefits

I'm working with a fast-growing fintech business modernising a traditionally underserved sector through a cloud-based payments and operations platform.

They're looking for a Senior Product Engineer with strong backend experience to join a collaborative engineering team, building products that solve complex real-world challenges.

What you'll do

  • Build and enhance backend services, APIs, and workflows using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Work closely with Product and engineering teams to shape solutions from idea through to delivery
  • Contribute to architecture, scalability, and code quality improvements
  • Investigate technical issues and support reliable product delivery
  • Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve productivity and delivery quality

  • Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Experience building scalable backend applications and APIs
